Since I can remember I’ve always been drawing, painting or sculpting something and when I’m not.. I’m thinking about drawing or painting something or I’m looking how shadows fall on an object or what colours I can see in those shadows? I’m always looking at the world and thinking how can I paint this?

Being creative gives me immense pleasure, even though the journey to a finished design or painting can be a treacherous road full of distractions and wrong turns, in the end the journey is always worth it, to bring something totally new into the world created by me.

This video demonstrates my painting process. After I’ve inked out my sketch I build up tonal values with a variety of inks before moving on to watercolour and then finally I highlight with a combination of coloured pencil and gouache.
