I really enjoy creating whimsical paintings, I wanted to design this quickly and not overthink it and sometimes I find spontaneity works best for this type of picture, so I chose elements I was familiar with drawing the ocean, the moon and a fox and placed them together in the scene, the fishing rod seemed like the logical addition to give the fox a purpose for being there!
