As a traditional artist working with watercolour, ink and pencil I am inspired by the sea, beauty in the unimaginable and playing with light and shadow.

Please have a browse through a portfolio of my work over the years. I have experience working with a range of mediums including: pen & pencil, oil, acrylic, watercolour and clay.
This video demonstrates how I tend to paint. After I’ve inked out my sketch I build up tonal values with a variety of inks before moving on to watercolour and then finally I highlight with a combination of coloured pencil and gouache.
